1. What is the Panda signature full body therapy?
The Panda signature full body therapy is a treatment built by Panda Spa Da Nang, not taking a whole school of massage but combining four techniques in a purposeful sequence. It opens with Japanese Shiatsu acupressure to clear stiff points along the back and shoulders. Next are the bending, folding, and stretching movements of Thai massage - the strongest part of the session, making muscles flexible and opening joints. Then the therapist switches to long, graceful Swedish strokes to boost blood circulation and soothe the areas that were just worked on strongly. It finishes with hot stones placed along the spine, keeping the warmth penetrating deeply.
Panda Spa is a massage spa with two locations at 229 and 225C Nguyen Van Thoai, An Hai, Da Nang; this is the most booked service online in Panda's menu. A session lasts 90 or 120 minutes, always starting with a free warm herbal foot soak.
In short: if aroma massage is "relaxation", then this therapy is "treatment" - for those who are truly tired, truly stiff, and want to leave the room feeling like a completely different person.
2. Four techniques, one goal
Each technique takes care of one thing, and the order is not random.
| Phase | Technique | What the therapist does | What you feel |
| 1 | Shiatsu (Japan) | Uses fingers and palms to press and hold acupoints along the back, shoulders, and nape | Slight numbness then warmth exactly at the stiff spots |
| 2 | Thai stretching | Bends, folds, stretches limbs and gently twists the upper body | Muscles are stretched out, joints "open", slightly sore but pleasant |
| 3 | Swedish | Long strokes with warm essential oil towards the heart | Blood flowing strongly, the heavily worked areas are soothed |
| 4 | Hot stones | Warm basalt stones placed along the spine and in palms | Deep warmth, sleepiness, the body sinking into the table |
This combination helps increase blood circulation, reduce muscle stiffness, and lessen the heavy, sluggish feeling often experienced by people who sit for a long time, stand for a long time, or walk a lot for many days. According to the experience of Panda's therapists, guests after a long flight or after two or three days of climbing Marble Mountains and walking around Hoi An are the group that notices the difference most clearly - usually right in phase 2.
The hand pressure is up to you. The therapist asks before the session, and if you want it lighter or stronger in the middle, just say the word.
3. How much does the Panda signature full body therapy cost?
Two levels, tip for the therapist included, no surcharge, same price at both locations.
| Duration | Price | Suitable when |
| 90 minutes | 750,000₫ | Trying for the first time, mainly tired in the neck, shoulders, and back |
| 120 minutes | 950,000₫ | Tired all over, want to thoroughly work on legs and arms, have time to rest after the session |
Compared to other full body services at Panda:
-
Aroma massage 90 minutes priced at 700,000₫: gentler, leaning towards relaxation with essential oils.
-
Four hands massage 90 minutes priced at 1,300,000₫: two therapists working simultaneously, for those who want a special experience.
The Panda signature therapy is in the middle: stronger than aroma, more affordable than 4 hands. See the full Panda Spa price list.
A detail guests often ask: two people taking the 90-minute treatment, the 1,500,000₫ bill qualifies for a free one-way shuttle within a 5 km radius. Groups of four from 2,500,000₫ get free two-way transport.
4. What happens during a 90-minute session?
-
Foot soak and warm tea (5–10 minutes): You are offered tea and a warm herbal foot soak - free with every service at Panda. These few minutes warm you up and allow the therapist to ask where you feel tired and what pressure you like.
-
Enter the private room, change clothes: Couples or groups of friends are arranged in double/group rooms. You lie on your stomach, covered with a towel, only exposing the area being worked on.
-
Shiatsu back – shoulders – nape (about 20 minutes): Pressing and holding each point, slowly and deeply. This is the time to speak up if it feels unbearably painful.
-
Thai stretching (about 20 minutes): The therapist pulls your arms, folds your legs, and gently twists your upper body. You do not need to do anything, just relax and let them do it.
-
Swedish strokes with essential oil (about 25 minutes): Long strokes from the legs up the back, out to the arms. The easiest part of the session to fall asleep to.
-
Hot stones (about 15 minutes): Stones are placed along the spine and in the palms, the therapist gently rolls the stones over the areas that were just worked on strongly.
-
Rest and drink tea: No one is rushing you. Sit for another ten minutes to fully wake up before leaving.
Remember to set aside about 15–20 minutes outside the treatment duration. In the 120-minute version, each phase is longer and the legs and arms are worked on more thoroughly.
5. Who should choose this therapy - and when to choose another service?
Best for: people with tired back, neck, and shoulders due to sitting at a computer or driving long distances; people who just took a long flight to Da Nang; people who have been traveling for two or three days straight and their limbs are exhausted; people who have tried aroma and found it "not satisfying enough". This is also the service that many regular Panda customers choose over and over again.
You should choose another service if:
-
You only have a tired neck, shoulders, and nape, and do not need the whole body done: neck and shoulder massage at 650,000₫ focuses right on the spot and is more economical.
-
You like it gentle, easy to sleep to, and do not want to be stretched: choose aroma.
-
You have a spinal injury, recently had surgery, or your doctor advised avoiding strong impact: tell the receptionist first, Panda will advise a gentler service or skip the stretching phase.
The 15:00–21:00 time frame is the busiest at both locations. If you want a good time slot, especially a double room, you should book in advance.

6. Frequently Asked Questions
6.1. Should I choose 90 or 120 minutes?
For the first time, choose 90 minutes - enough for all four phases, priced at 750,000₫. Choose 120 minutes (950,000₫) when you are tired in both your arms and legs, not just your back and shoulders, or want the hot stone part to be longer. Panda's second-time guests usually upgrade to 120 minutes.
6.2. Does it hurt? Can someone who has never had a massage do it?
The Shiatsu and stretching phases have a sore, tingling sensation at the stiff spots - that is normal, not pain. The therapist asks about the pressure before the session and adjusts it as soon as you speak. Complete beginners can definitely do it; just choose "medium" instead of "strong" pressure for the first time.
6.3. Do couples have a private room?
Yes. Both locations have double rooms and rooms for small groups, two people receiving massage at the same time in the same room. Double rooms run out fast in the evening, so you should book in advance via Zalo or hotline.
6.4. Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-in guests are still served if there are rooms and therapists available. But this therapy needs 90–120 continuous minutes so the 15:00–21:00 slot is usually full. Booking 1–2 hours in advance is safe; on weekends you should book from the morning.
6.5. Can I do it while pregnant?
It is not recommended - the stretching and hot stone phases are not suitable for pregnancy. Panda has a separate prenatal massage, where techniques and postures are adjusted for safety.
6.6. Is the tip included in the price?
Yes. All prices at Panda Spa already include the tip for the technician. You do not need to give extra, and there are no other surcharges.
7. Book the Panda signature full body therapy
Book online 24/7 at the booking page - choose service, time, location and you are done. Or call / message Zalo 0708 185 397 to reserve a double room and ask about the shuttle. Two locations at 229 and 225C Nguyen Van Thoai, open 9:00–23:45 every day, about 5 minutes from My Khe beach.
